   恭喜港大。若改由大陸出身的科學家掌舵，明年受關注肯定遠過於同行。
   英文姓名讀音怕難倒很多師生的疑似校長出身全美最反建制的Berkeley。Trump登台後，該市左右街鬥頻仍，大教授對於港大以至港人的內鬥不會陌生。
   我以出身科學的小人之心，可以理解科技王國的頂尖學者為何「屈就」彈丸之地的學官：
   Unless he is an egghead, he should pick hk.
   Leading a top univ. of the 'most promising' country to excellence on par with Qinghua and Beida is much more satisfying than fighting for excellence in just one academic field.
    Maybe more importantly, making contributions to his motherland in the bid to surpass America is much more rewarding than being just one among say 500 top scientists in the kingdom of science. A Chinese American scientist is just another person in America. Nobody gives you a damn unless you get a Nobel or a top spot in NASDAQ.
   And, guess the pay and perks here is much better too.
